What Is That Growing In Your Fridge? Ew!

The Fridge holds the yummiest things in your home, but it also holds the grimiest things!

PROBLEM:

Life gets so busy that we might leave chicken on the refrigerator shelf to defrost while at work, and then the baby’s bottle is put in once the chicken was gone. Another example is that old veggies that are molding are now active breeding grounds for harmful micro-organisms that can cause food-borne illnesses. 

Proper Way To Clean The Refrigerator

SOLUTION:
Before you unload a new load of groceries into the fridge, do a quick inspection of what you already have.  Remove, disinfect and replace. 

If any old foods have molded or left a residue in the fridge, sprinkle some baking soda on the affected rack and spray white distilled vinegar/water mixture over the baking soda to disinfect the area.  Wipe up with a paper towel and toss.
